Canine (K9) specialists - trained dogs and handlers
N.P.P Security Services offer a wide range of canine services throughout the UK.
Our dog section has handlers with a wealth of experience and we pride ourselves in providing a service that is second to none.
Patrol dogs
A well trained dog team is a very effective way of guarding. A professional and highly visible dog and handler will act as a strong deterrent to intruders.
Dogs have very highly developed senses and when trained and handled correctly they can efficiently detect intruders which may have been missed by normal security officers.
A trained dog will aid in the defence of the officer should he be under attack. This gives officers more confidence to carry out their duties in vulnerable areas.
Intruders and criminals are more likely to surrender when faced with a dog team. A well disciplined dog can be intimidating on command despite being completely under control by the handler.
Our patrol dogs are trained to the highest standards within the industry and are our first priority. We don't use them as "tools of the trade". They are each allocated to a handler and they live a family life when not on duty.
The dogs' health and safety is paramount to our dog divisions success as without our canine colleagues we would not exist.
Our dog handlers are trained to the highest standards. All are SIA licensed and accredited to at least one of the 3 governing bodies (NASDU, BIPTD, NTIPDU). Both our dogs and handlers maintain continuous discipline training programmes to ensure that all skills are kept up to scratch.
